The contents of DCR466 are amended to include the following amendments and additions:
1 - The original drawings for the obsolete versions of Variants 17 to 43 are removed and replaced by drawings of the new design as shown in the original attachment to DCR466.
2 – The change description on the DCN page for DCR466 in the up-issued spec 3401/022 shall include the following information note:

Specification updated to incorporate editorial and technical changes per DCR.
Note - Changes include modifications to Variants 17 to 43 with respect to their specified mechanical configuration, dimension limits and/or maximum weight. However these Variants remain form, fit and function interchangeable with the obsolete versions they replace.

4 - Table 1(a) should also be amended to include the 3 new Variants as follows:
Variant 81: Potting Shell; Size E; weight N/A
Variant 82: Back-Shell for Strapped Connections; Size E; weight 6.3g
Variant 83: Cable Clamp, Straight; Size E; weight 8.3g
5 - Para 2,
Amend titles of the specs in (a)(b) and (c) to reflect the actual spec titles.
Delete reference to QQ & MIL specs (see comment 6 on Para. 4.4.1 below)
6 - Para 4.4.1. Delete current Para. title & contents to be replaced with the following:

4.4.1 Screw-Lock Assemblies, Potting Shells, Back Shells, Clamps
Screw-lock assemblies (brass), potting shells, back shells and clamps shall be made of brass with gold (0.7um minimum) over copper (1um minimum) plating.
Screw-lock assemblies (stainless steel) shall be made of passivated stainless steel.

7 - Para 4.5.3.1, add Variants 81 to 83 to the list for magnetism level.

Justification for the above amendments are:
1 – Removal of obsolete variants facilitating use of the same variant numbers for the new design accessories which are considered form, fit and function interchangeable with the obsolete versions.
2 – Clarification for users.
3, 4, 5, 7 – Editorial corrections for the purposes of clarity, consistency and completeness.
5, 6 - Definition of the base material and plating is considered sufficient without reference to specific non-ESCC material specifications; It is considered unnecessary to prescribe the actual material specifications to be applied by the Manufacturer (which will be controlled by their PID).
For modified Variants 39 to 43, Right Angle Clamp, in Figure 2(e), replace the figure with the one attached (including addition of new dimension 'D' and correction of dimension ‘G’)
