1) As well as detailing some changes to dimensions 'L' 'K' 'N' for existing case sizes 1 to 4, annex 2 seems to imply that a new case size 5 should also be added.
i.e. currently there are only 4 case sizes specified in this spec; see Table 1(a), Figure 2.
Exxelia is requested to clarify the changes required per this DCR.
i.e. if a new case size 5 is to be added, additional Variants will need to be included in Table 1(a) (and hence should then need to be added to this DCR).
2) Annex 2 implies the addition of a new sentence for Figure 2 Note 2 (for dimension N; with amended thickness 1.3mm max):
"The dimension corresponds to the sheet metal thickness."
The drawings in Figures 2(a) & 2(b) indicate that dimension N represents the envelope of this fan lock washer (i.e. N is the maximum thickness including the teeth of the washer).
I propose that this sentence should not be added to Note 2.
Exxelia is requested to advise their position on my proposal and confirm the proper dimension N value for the washer thickness including the teeth.
